Confirm the numbers
Check parent or guardian contacts, one nearby backup person, the school or childcare number and the out-of-area contact. Put a review date on the plan.
Agree on where to reconnect
Choose a nearby meeting place and another outside the neighborhood. Follow the school or childcare program’s own reunification instructions.
Give the plan to the people who may need it
Keep completed copies private but accessible to authorized caregivers. Replace outdated copies instead of leaving several versions in circulation.
