Coordinating care across homes
Two homes do not need to run the same way. The child does need the adults to know the active plan, the information that affects today and who owns the next step.
If you do one thing
Check that both responsible adults can identify the current schedule and the next handoff without relying on the child to explain it.

Separate the current plan from a proposed change
A request is not an accepted schedule. Keep the existing time visible until the required adults have clearly approved something different.
Share what affects the next care period
Use direct observations, source instructions, required items and the next known event. Save unrelated disagreements for a separate adult conversation.
Close with one owner
If something still needs attention, identify the adult taking the next step and when the other caregiver should expect an update.
